Guitar player, singer, songwriter and producer Hank Shizzoe (*1966) lives in the heart of Europe in Berne. Since 1991 he has released 17 albums. Together with his band he has performed more than 1500 concerts between Trondheim, Tangiers, Budapest, Chicago and Los Angeles. Hank Shizzoe has shared the stage with Bob Dylan, Ali Farka Touré, ZZ Top, David Lindley and Bo Diddley, played in Stephan Eicher’s band, recorded a live album with Sonny Landreth, played Carnegie Hall in New York City, won the Prix de la Scène at the Paléo Festival in Nyon and produced countless albums for other artists from rock and folk to pop music. He records and performs regularly with Tinu Heiniger, toured with Max Laesser, Shirley Grimes, Christine Lauterburg and writes music for motion pictures and theatre. He likes mountains, forests, deserts, motorcycles, California and appreciates good food.

Der Gitarrist, Sänger, Songwriter und Produzent Hank Shizzoe (*1966) lebt im Herzen Europas in Bern. Seit 1991 hat er 17 Alben veröffentlicht. Zusammen mit seiner Band hat er mehr als 1500 Konzerte zwischen Trondheim, Tanger, Budapest, Chicago und Los Angeles gespielt. Hank Shizzoe teilte die Bühne mit Bob Dylan, Ali Farka Touré, ZZ Top, David Lindley und Bo Diddley, spielte in Stephan Eichers Band, nahm mit Sonny Landreth ein Live-Album auf, spielte in der Carnegie Hall in New York City, gewann den Prix de la Scène beim Paléo Festival in Nyon und produzierte Alben für zahlreiche Künstler von Rock und Folk bis Pop. Im Studio und live spielt er regelmässig mit Tinu Heiniger, tourte mit Max Lässer, Shirley Grimes, Christine Lauterburg, Polo Hofer und schreibt Musik für Filme und Theater. Er mag Wälder, Berge, Wüsten, Kalifornien, Katzen, Motorräder und schätzt gutes Essen.
